We do not take our success and privilege for granted. Obesity rates have risen to 42% despite the $4.2T wellness economy boom, and poor and underserved communities are most impacted. Unfortunately, fitness and wellness are often only available to the affluent. We aim to change that.

Maverick Forward, our 501(c)3 nonprofit initiative, is committed to helping more individuals in poor and underserved communities break into the fitness industry and live freer, healthier, and happier lives. Mindfulness and physical health is for all. We are here to make equal and accessible fitness resources a reality.

Has someone in line in front of you ever purchased your food? And, as a result, have you ever decided to 'pay it forward' for the person behind you? Paying it forward is a noble gesture, but we believe making this model more impactful and sustainable. We believe in 'partnering forward.'

Maverick Forward partners with poor and underserved community members, offering the opportunity to become low-risk entrepreneurs (wellness professionals). We minimize the costs of training to become a wellness or fitness professional and provide spaces to launch business. These individuals can work from the Maverick Community wellness facility or anywhere they choose.

We pledge to work with these community members to promote health, fitness, and entrepreneurship by offering no-cost mentorship, training, and certifications for aspiring wellness professionals, including low and more flexible rent and a scholarship fund to allow for low or free client fees. This is our mission—the collective dream of fitness and wellness for all, regardless of socioeconomic status.
